People of African ancestry have gifted us with numerous quotes that expose the injustices they have lived through. The valuable lessons they have learned through their history include — but are not limited to — slavery, Jim Crow, being set “free,” the civil rights movement, the Black Lives Matter movement, as well as our current challenges. We have much to learn about their journeys and experiences.
